Sound, drawing and movement  is a live music and visual art performance for children of all ages. Surrounding  the creative process of experimentation with the materiality of crayons and paper,  drawing with the whole body with the sound of the cello! Language is no problem!

Yasmim Flores is a visual artist, performer and art educator from São Paulo Brazil. She has a background in dance and art education, which she merges into her current artistic practice through interactive performances. Her work is thematically focused on the body relations with the materiality of drawing, painting, music and installations.

Currently, she is teaching Brazilian Art and Culture for babies and children at EPM Choro School- Rotterdam at WMDC CODARTs Building.

Flavia Escartin
 was born in Gent but grew up in a small village near Barcelona. She plays cello since the age of 4.

She graduated from Codarts Conservatory in June 2022 with Jeroen Den Herder and Joachim Eijlander and is currently studying Jazz Cello in the Amsterdam Conservatory.

Today, based in Rotterdam and Amsterdam, she is working with several bands of Contemporary Jazz, Free Improvisation, Classical Ensembles, Turkish traditional music and interdiciplenary projects with circus.
Her main musical projects are the Escarteen Sisters, a duo with her sister and Ayal, a band of six women from different parts of the world that interpret middle-east music.

Also member of Hartwin Trio, Frida Trio, Cyrrealism, Java Collectief and The Talking Hands.
