Stephen & Fiora
Een voorstelling vol acrobatiek, accordeon, dans, grapjes en ontroering. Een bijzondere combinatie van Afrikaanse acrobatiek en dans en Europese muziek op accordeon. Er wordt acrobatiek trucjes met de kinderen gedaan, samen dansen, touw springen en... ze mogen de accordeon proberen!

Stephen Owino is een Keniaanse acrobaat, acteur en danser. Samen met zijn broers is hij de oprichter van Nafsi Africa Acrobats een organisatie die acrobatiek- dans en muzieklessen voor kinderen uit de sloppenwijken in Nairobi verzorgt. Om hun project in Nairobi te financieren treden de professionele acrobaten van Nafsi veel op in Europa. Zo werkte Stephen ook voor Circus Zanzara in Nederland.

Fiora Beuger is een Nederlandse muzikant en componist. Ze werkt veel met kinderen en is als muzikant en speler regelmatig te zien in (jeugd)theatervoorstellingen. Ook speelt ze in verschillende bands, waaronder de circusband van Circus Zanzara.

In 2015 ontmoetten Fiora en Stephen elkaar bij Circus Zanzara in Amsterdam. Er ontstond een bijzondere samenwerking. Fiora reisde af naar Kenia om samen met Nafsi een act te ontwikkelen en voor straatkinderen en op scholen in Nairobi te spelen. Daarna volgde een Europese tour van “Nafsi & Fiora” op straatfestivals.

Tijdens deze tournee is de duo-act van Fiora en Stephen ontwikkeld. Met heel veel plezier speelden ze deze act al op straat in Kroatië, Zwitserland, Italië en in de circustent op het Sint Roza festival in Sittard, Nederland.

Stephen Owino is a Kenyan acrobat, actor and dancer. Together with his brothers, he is the founder of Nafsi Africa Acrobats, an organization that provides acrobatics dance and music lessons for children from the slums in Nairobi. To finance their project in Nairobi, Nafsi's professional acrobats perform a lot in Europe. Stephen also worked for Circus Zanzara in the Netherlands.

Fiora Beuger is a Dutch musician and composer. She works a lot with children and is regularly seen as a musician and player in (youth) theater performances. She also plays in various bands, including Circus Zanzara circus band.

In 2015, Fiora and Stephen met each other at Circus Zanzara in Amsterdam. There was a special cooperation. Fiora traveled to Kenya to develop an act together with Nafsi and play for street children and schools in Nairobi. Then followed an European tour of "Nafsi & Fiora" at street festivals.

During this tour, the duo act of Fiora and Stephen was developed. With a lot of fun, they performed this act on the streets in Croatia, Switzerland, Italy and in the circus tent at the Sint Roza festival in Sittard, The Netherlands.
