The solo performance "Ave María" addresses the issue of gender violence in its different facets.
The piece focuses on the experiences of four women; four women whose different stories have one thing in common: experiences of discrimination based on their gender and the fight against patriarchal structures.
Their stories are told by Archangel Uriel, a being of light and redemption, who brings us closer to each character with their individual feelings and experiences
Ave María is inspired by real events and offers a space to understand the impact of gender violence, to contemplate a wide variety of perspectives and experiences, and to develop reflections on how to face it as society.
