Duo Era (cello and harp) invites you on a magical musical journey: follow the sounds of the harp and cello in a tropical rainforest, high in the mountains and deep
into the sea! Come listen to singing birds, see dancing elephants and travel to other worlds with the music of these two beautiful instruments.

Duo Era
Duo Era consists of cellist Khrystyna Kulchynska and harpist Dafne Paris.They met at the Amsterdam Conservatory. One of the strong
of this ensemble is the atmosphere and the way they incorporate their diverse backgrounds and cultural heritage (Italian, Dutch, Ukrainian and Russian)
incorporated into their music. The Duo's main goals are to expand the repertoire for this instrument combination and create
interdisciplinary performances. They are currently working on projects that merge music, visual arts and poetry. As a duo, they have performed at many
festivals at home and abroad (Grachtenfestival, Festiv'Alba in Italy etc) and for various concert stages (Muziekgebouw aan 't IJ, Oosterkerk and many others).

Besides their duo, they are active in various orchestras and ensembles and perform regularly all over Europe. The Duo, winner of the 'Maker seeks maker' award, is currently supported by the 'Keep an Eye Foundation'.

in de zee! Kom luisteren naar zingende vogels, zie dansende olifanten en reis naar andere werelden met de muziek van deze twee prachtige instrumenten.

Duo Era
Het Duo Era bestaat uit celliste Khrystyna Kulchynska en harpiste Dafne Paris.Ze leerden elkaar kennen op het Conservatorium van Amsterdam. Een van de sterke
punten van dit ensemble is de sfeer en de manier waarop zij hun uiteenlopende achtergronden en cultureel erfgoed (Italiaans, Nederlands, Oekrains en Russisch)
verwerken in hun muziek. De belangrijkste doeleinden van het Duo zijn de uitbreiding van het repertoire voor deze instrumentencombinatie en het creëren van
interdisciplinaire performances. Momenteel werken ze aan projecten waarin muziek, beeldende kunsten en poëzie samenvloeien. Als duo hebben zij opgetreden op vele
festivals in binnen- en buitenland (Grachtenfestival, Festiv'Alba in Italië etc) en voor verschillende concertpodia (Muziekgebouw aan 't IJ, Oosterkerk en vele anderen).

Naast hun duo zijn ze actief in verschillende orkesten en ensembles en treden regelmatig op in heel Europa. Het Duo, winnaar van de ‘Maker zoekt maker' prijs,
wordt momenteel gesteund door de ‘Keep an Eye Foundation’.
