Every second Thursday of the month Munganga hosts an evening of Forró! This Thursday we are welcoming João Bittencourt to create the soundtrack of this evening. A musical genre and dance from Northeastern Region of Brazil. This catchy music style and simple but fun couple’s dance is a great way to spend an amazing evening with friends and loved ones!
The repertoire of this show is for dancing and includes songs by composers such as Geraldo Azevedo, Flávio José and Alceu Valença, as well as instrumentals by Sivuca, Dominguinhos and Camarão.
And don’t worry if you don’t know how to dance Forró! 30 min before the show starts (19h30) the team from Bora Forró organized a free crash course of the basic steps so that when the music starts the fun begins!
