Brazilian artists Nei Zigma (singer and composer) and percussionist Simone Sou present a hybrid show.
For To Warm Hearts is a spontaneous meeting between the two Brazilian musicians, who after being isolated without performing shows for 1 year and a half, perform on stage at Teatro Muganga for the first time!
The show features in the singer’s compositions, a repertoire from his latest EP released in July 2020 and new songs from an album that is being finished in São Paulo, as restrictions are relaxed and allow the instrument players to gather inside the studio.
Between Samba, Funk, Jazz and Rock, the poems narrate the ancient heritage of Afro-Brazilian memory, and find in the pulsation of Simone Sou’s drums, the percussions of yours, timbres and rhythms, and the calming of poetry and melodies in the voice of singer Nei Zigma.
