10 years of Searching for Home – that calls for a celebration!

The band collective from Leipzig is taking its personal birthday party on tour. After three releases, more than 170 concerts as a group, and several awards (1st Sparda Jazz Award, 1st Jazzfruit, 5th
Burghausen Jazz Award), Searching for Home is bringing a rousing anniversary show featuring new songs and reworked classics to stages across Europe and abroad.

With a fresh sound, the musicians shed light on the most diverse aspects of interpersonal relationships. Whether it's the relationship with oneself, hyperfocus on one person, or growing apart – the band collective tells its story with a driving forward momentum and incredibly infectious optimism.

Led by the versatile voice of singer Ida, pulsating grooves, fat brass sections, driving basses and guitars, and sophisticated synthesizer sounds constantly bring new facets to the energetic live program.

Searching for Home is setting new standards in its field of research between jazz and pop.

The band
The eleven-strong band collective with musicians and producers from all over Germany overwhelms clubs and festivals with great sound, high energy and fat beats, without missing a richness of color and fragile moments.
With their influences ranging from jazz and funk to indie rock to classical and world music, one could accuse the musicians of not knowing what they want. But the opposite is the case: they know it very well, they simply don't want to leave anything behind on their journey.
