Three dots is a band that mixes Portuguese and Ukranian culture. The project started in the end of a summer and talks about two lovers that met and connected with the art of music.
Kateryna Avdysh – born in Kyiv and a resident of Lisbon for the past three years is a singer and composer of jazz and pop music.
Ivo Xavier – based in Amsterdam, is a bassist, producer, and composer from Portugal. After living in Amsterdam for eight years, he now wants to introduce the city to some of the musicians he has met along the way.
Their music is fundamentally a fusion of Portuguese and Ukrainian cultures.
The warmth and energy of Portuguese music, combined with the colors and passion of Ukraine, create a sound that, while familiar, leads listeners on a beautifully uncharted journey.
