The show "Samba, Choro e Canções Brasileiras" presents important works of Brazilian popular music, including the samba and choro genres, compositions from the early 20th century to the 21st century, by world-renowned composers such as Chico Buarque and Noel Rosa as well as others less famous to European audiences - but just as important - such as Guinga, Sérgio Santos and Wilson Batista.
Accompanied by a "regional" (group in a traditional choro line-up), Cristina performs less known pieces such "Lealdade" by Wilson Batista, "Saci" by Guinga, "Choro Rasgado" by Francis Hime, leading the audience to explore Brazilian musical poetry beyond carnival sambas and bossa nova.
