The Teatro Munganga presents a special evening dedicated to the music of Antonio Carlos Jobim, a central figure in Brazilian music who built bridges between classical music, jazz, and the music of his country.
The concert will unfold in two parts: first with the DUO WOLF/GARBELOTTO, performing a more written, classical repertoire that explores lesser-known pieces by Jobim.
The second part will be with the DUO WOLF/DE JONG, revisiting Jobim's great classics in a freer, more improvisational style.

O Teatro Munganga recebe uma noite especial dedicada à obra de Antonio Carlos Jobim, figura central da música brasileira que construiu pontes entre a música clássica, o jazz e a música de seu país. O concerto será apresentado em dois momentos: primeiro com o DUO WOLF/GARBELOTTO, em um repertório mais escrito e de caráter clássico, explorando peças menos conhecidas de Jobim; e na segunda parte, o DUO WOLF/DE JONG, que revisita grandes clássicos de Jobim em clima mais livre e improvisado. Um concerto que celebra a diversidade da obra desse grande mestre da música brasileira.
