Op maandagavond om de week kan er weer Tango worden gedanst in de fijne sfeer en ambiance van Munganga.

Er zijn wisselende DJ's en soms is er een workshop vooraf, die informatie staat op de Tango kalender per keer aangegeven.

Milunes is back in our cosy theatre, every 2 weeks; with different DJ’s and sometimes a workshop.

Iets over mij als tanguero en DJ

Since 1991 it is Argentine Tango for me. Part from dancing a few nights per week, I've been teaching it, performing it on stage, organising events, and getting event organisors and media the tango artists for their projects, parties and broadcasts.

As Tango DJ I’ll see to it that lyrical or romantic songs and more energetic or rhythmic pieces be played with 'a wave length' of about one hour. A set of milongas may best be preceeded by a set of the already more rhythmic tangos, and be followed up by a set of the calmer romantic tangos. I’ll play traditional style, but I like also to put in some ‘neo’ as well, depending the expectations of the visitors of the particular milonga.

I’ve been Tango DJ the Netherlands, Italy, Spain, Greece and Peru, and recently in Argentina as wel.

In March I was DJ in the milonga ‘Caminito’ in Córdoba, Argentina. I’ve spent a whole day listening to my music again and preparing sets, tandas and cortinas (with more salsa, as I knew they were used to). I think it payed of, since the locals judged my work as "Cada tanda hermosa!”.
