Samiye Demir is a  Turkish musician and a scientist. With her music project, she emphasises the change in the status of women in society from the Sumerian Goddess Inanna to the present.
She performs ethnic songs in Turkish, Armenian, Greek, Kurdish, Persian, Arabic, Assyrian and Lazuri telling the stories of women.

Collaborating with Turkish, Serbian, Swedish and Chinese musicians, she takes the audience on a journey through time and space.
