We are Alerusjon, and extraordinarily happy to present to you our melee of recordings -- our first musical statement to our friends, and together with our friends.
A debut with collaborations? Yes, for this is a very special debut. We play with 9 friends from Central-, Eastern- and Western-Europe. You’ll hear Romanian, Latvian, Azerbaidjanian, Russian and English lyrics on the record, while the music is flavoured with Brazilian Choro, Bossa and Samba, Indie, Baroque, Jazz, Minimal, Pop.
We're glad that some of them will also play with us at Munganga theater in Amsterdam! Those artists are pianist Sofia Vasheruk (Russia) and singer Ana Stamp (Romania)
Alerusjon is Alexander Thinius (Guitar) Rustam Bagirov (Accordion) Jonas Liesenfeld (Violin).
Sofia Vasheruk comes from Russia and plays classical piano since the age of three.. She is a laureate of many international piano competitions, a member of several music ensembles and actively performing concert pianist. More on Sofia: www.vasheruk.com
Romanian pianist and singer Anamaria Stamp finishes her Master’s at ArtEZ/Arnhem. 2nd prize and special prize in the International Chamber Music Competition in Cluj-Napoca (2010), and special prize for the best interpretation of a Modern piece by Razvan Metea, in Romania.
