Fuensanta is a singer, double bassist, composer, improviser & multidisciplinary artist born in the water forest of Veracruz [Mexico] and based in Amsterdam. Her music holds rare and simple poetry to help open a sincere & surreal vision over the things in the world. Fuensanta’s debut studio EP ‘Principio del Fuego’ co-produced with grammy nominated Louis Cole was released in  June 2023 through NYC label from Snarky Puppy GroundUp Music.

She concluded a two year period as artist in residency at BIMHUIS in October 2023 and is one of the most prominent & unique young voices emerging from the experimental music scene in Europe & Latin America.

Fuensanta collaborates with artists such as Louis Cole, Ben van Gelder, Genevieve Artadi, Han Bennink, Aaron Parks, Reinier Baas, Kit Downes, Magalí Datzira, Lucia Fumero, Sun Mi Hong, Tineke Postma, Ben Wendel, Sanem Kalfa, Teis Semey, Joris Roelofs & Nawras Altaky. She has performed in the Netherlands, Mexico, Japan, South Korea, France, Slovenia, Italy, Spain, Miami, UK, Latvia, Denmark, Sweden, Hungary, Portugal, & Germany.
