Being a musician and a composer nowadays, is like being a time traveller constantly a head of times and always reaching out for the better.

During the last three years Parmegiani, Darash and Cappucci have crossed paths many many times, firstly because they all signed for the same italian super high class label A.MA Records run by well known italian producer Antonio Martino who made his bones working and producing with people like Nicola Conte and Gerardo Frisina just to name a few. They started to perform in the same combo in 2018 while in the same year working together on different albums for the label. As they all remember even on the first gig they immediately felt that communion of intent that makes a concert a special one.

Alberto Parmegiani starts his studies at the Conservatorio (Music school) Niccolò Piccinni in Monopoli (Italy) with the professor Roberto Lambo and gets his chitarra jazz degree in 1992 after attending New York Mannes College of Music. During the years he studied with Pat Metheny, John Scofield, Vic Juris, Ed MacEachen, Phil Grenadier, Tommaso Lama, Pietro Condorelli, Peter Bernstein. He joins from 1990 to 1992 the Italo/American acting company directed by John La Barbera performing intensively in the area of New York. At the same time Alberto together with musicians such as di Phil and Larry Grenadier, Dave Pullman and Philippe Monange starts facing the New York musical scene. He works with different orchestras for Off-Broadway shows. In 1991 he’s the guitarist of the Italian /American orchestra “I Giullari di Piazza” and performs during the debut of Master Luciano Pavarotti at the Lincoln Center of New York. In 1993 writes a and plays the music for the show “The Dream of Sor Juana” that was performed at the Kraine Theatre di New York and directed by Anthony Di Pietro. In 2000 he gets a scholarship to attend the prestigious competition jazz courses of Siena Jazz. In 2001 obtains the degree from the Siena Jazz courses and starts working on music for theatre writing “Il Bugiardo” for the acting company "Beato e Angelica” with Flavio Albanese directed by Marinella Anaclerio and for “concerto per un sognatore” based on “White Nights” by F.Dostoevskij. In 2004 works together with France Cerasi and Sergio Langella writing the music for the soundtrack of the movie “Volevo solo dormirle addosso” by Eugenio Cappuccio that was Awarded by the critics at the Venice movie festival. From 2004 to 2008 teaches at the University of Music in Rome In August 2005 write and directs for the Banda Municipal de Santiago that will become famous with the movie Buena Vista Social Club by Wim Wenders, during the Festival delle Crete Senesi in Siena From 1999 until today he has been performing all around Europe in clubs and most important jazz festivals. 2015 His new Quintet album “Under a shimmery grace” is released by A.MA Records. The album gets a very important feedback in Italy and all around Europe bringing his music to the attention of many artist directors taking the live act to many jazz festivals such as Beat onto jazz festival, Barletta jazz festival, International Mikro Jazz Owi in the city of Sopot in Poland among many others. From 2016 to 2017 he takes part in the making of such albums as Paolo Achenza’s 4 “Branches”, Francesca Sortino “Be Free”, Davide Peluso Quartet “the blue zone” released by A.MA records. In 2018 his new album “On my radio” comes to life under artistic patronage of Mr.Antonio Martino at A.MA records. The line up is composed by young international talented piano virtuoso Claudio Filippini, Daniele Cappucci on bass a very well brewed european talent as well as Armando Luongo on drums and on 3 tracks an uprising talent on sax by the name of Enzo Bacco. This ensemble, in the fall of 2017, before the recording of the album is out on a 10 concerts tour in Belgium and France receiving a wide success acclaimed by the public and critics. From april to may the album is played all around Europe in jazz radios and in a very short period of time it receives very good reviews. By the prestigious magazine “Musica Jazz” it gets awarded “cd of the month”. In december 2018 Alberto Parmegiani’s 4et goes out on the road for a 30 concerts tour taking his music to places as Holland, Belgium, France and Luxembourg and receiving a very special feedback from audience and specialized magazines. Daniele Cappucci
Born in San Giovanni Rotondo (Italy), Daniele studied classical music and attended the Conservatory of Foggia obtaining a degree in bass under the guidance of Maestro Massimiliano Mauthe.While studying classical music, he approached Jazz starting to play in Big Band projects and Combos. He studied in New Orleans Jazz University, Columbia College of Chicago and Siena Jazz (where he won a scholarship), attending a course for practice orchestral project "Civitas". He improved his skills with Eddie Gomez, Paolo Dalla Porta, Vashon Johnson,Franco Petracchi, Steve La Spina, Cameron Brown, Larry Grenadier and has also graduated from the Royal Conservatory in The Hague. Daniele currently lives in Brussels, teaching instrumental technique and improvisation

Avishai Darash is an Amsterdam-based pianist and composer whose style is derived from North African traditional music, Western classical music, American jazz and Israeli folk, amongst others. Avishai’s enthusiasm for music developed at an early age and his family encouraged him to pursue his interest. At the age of 16, he attended his first jazz concert and was deeply moved by the experience. He immediately began taking piano lessons under the guidance of composer / pianist Ittai Rosenbaum, which ultimately lead him to understand that music was not simply a passion of his, but something that he wished to dedicate his life to. In 2010, Avishai completed a Bachelor degree at the Jerusalem Academy for Music and Dance under the guidance of Erez Barnoy, Ilan Mochiach and Ittai Rosenbaum. In the course of his studies, Avishai gained international experience when he travelled to New York City, where he studied with George Cables or Bob Cranshaw, and where he even befriended Brad Meldhau, who took him under his tutelage for a while. In late 2010, Avishai moved to The Netherlands to complete a joint-honours degree program at the esteemed Conservatory of Amsterdam, studying both jazz music and classical composition. From 2012 till 2017, Avishai worked closely with the Dutch / Moroccan oud virtuoso Mohamed Ahaddaf as his pianist and arranger. They toured Northern Africa, Europe and South-East Asia and they released two albums together, Spoken Soul and Seasons. In 2018 his project "Nomadic Treasures", a European-based collective of musicians who released their debut album bearing the same name in April 2018 under the Italian label A.MA Edizioni. So far, the album has received praising reviews and the second album is scheduled to be released in winter 2019. Avishai Darash has spent the last years studying and arranging the music of the great arabic composers such as Mohammed Abdul Wahab, Abdel Halim Hafez and Oum Kalthoum to name a few. With his extensive knowledge and skill in jazz and western harmonies he could bring fourth his project SAMSKARA where he combines the artistry of Maqam music (Arabic scales and lyrical approach) together with the expression of jazz and classical music. Along side his jazz trio he collaborates on SAMSKARA with two masters of the east - Haytham Safia (Ud) and Abderrahim Semlali (Eastern Violin). Karima El Fillali paints Darash's compositions with her signature voice as a rising star of both arabic pop and trip hop. In the last 18 months Avishai has recorded three new albums. One as a band leader (Nomadic Treasures) and two as an arranger/Pianist - the live performance of the critically acclaimed contemporary dance show (which he arranged the music for with the compositions of Abderrahim Semlali) - ZIEL and a collaboration with Omar Metioui, an Andalusian Ud master - Tubu and Makamat. Aivshai has toured the Netherlands, France and Belgium extensively with ZIel, Andalusian orchestra of Amsterdam, Nomadic Treasures and more indie projects of the jazz idiom. Avishai has also been given the prestigious role of arranger and second chair composer for the Andalusian orchestra of Amsterdam where he will be developing projects for the coming cultural seasons of 2020-2021. Avishai has recently been asked to join the up and coming trip hop ensemble "Shakuer" where he arranges and plays different type of keyboard and future sounds. Avishai is currently holding the position of Pianist and Arranger for the prestigious Amsterdam's Andalusian Orchestra under the leadership of Maestro Abderahim Semlali. They recorded “Andalusian Echos" in 2017, which features the rising star of the Arabo-Andalusian world, Abir El Abed. Avishai has performed at: the Bimhuis (NL), Het Concertgebouw (NL), The International Ud festival in Jerusalem 2015 (IL), Southeast JazzFest (NL), McGill University of the Arts (Canada), Mohammed V (Morocco) and The International World music festival of Jenjou(S.Korea). Avishai's debut album Impermanence features the rising talents of the international jazz scene - Ofri Nehemya on drums and Avri Borochov on bass, alongside a string quartet of the award-winning Dutch orchestra "The metropol". Avishai won at several international competitions, such as the "All around jazz-Rome ensemble" (2nd place), The Richard Lupien MIMC for Classical improvisation (2014) and The Leiden Jazz award (Best soloist). Beside his various musical projects, he also co-founded the ‘Autar’ Foundation in 2014, which aims to support the Arts through government subsidies in The Netherlands and Europe. The upcoming two years look exciting for Avishai as he plans to collaborate with the Dutch National ballet, the international flamenco biennale and the royal Concertgebouw with some original and groundbreaking projects. The programs are scheduled for the seasons of 2019-2021.
