Clarinet player Camille Verhaak and dancer Kristien Sonnevijlle make music theatre inspired by the praised book (Vlag en Wimpel 2019) ‘Het hele soepzootje’ by science journalist Floor Bal.
During the performance they evolve from nothing to something, from the little seed that captures everything to a flying dinosaur and the milkbottlefish.
To finally arrive to us humans, for ever speeding up.
A colourful performance with classical music as well as well known (children’s) songs, in which a big theme is made tangible for a young audience.
Especially for Teatro Munganga, the performance has been adapted for an international audience. Less (Dutch) language, more music and movement.

Klarinettiste Camille Verhaak en danseres Kristien Sonnevijlle vertalen het met Vlag en Wimpel bekroonde boek ‘Het hele soepzootje’ door wetenschapsjournalist Floor Bal naar speels muziektheater. In de voorstelling evolueren ze van niets naar iets, van zaadje waaruit alles ontstaat tot vliegende dinosaurus en melkpakvis. Om uiteindelijk bij de mens uit te komen, die alsmaar sneller gaat. Een bonte voorstelling met klassieke muziek en bekende (kinder) liedjes, waarin een groot thema behapbaar wordt gemaakt voor jong publiek. Speciaal voor Teatro Munganga is de voorstelling aangepast voor een meer internationaal publiek. Minder (Nederlandse) taal, meer muziek en beweging.
