Mercado do Choro is a project that brings together authorial compositions from meetings in choro wheels in the urban space of Belém do Pará, Amazônia, Brazil. The result is a high temperature spectacle that unites the accents of Amazonian choro to other Brazilian composers who value rhythms and improvisations.

Mercado do Choro has Carla Cabral (Cavaco), Tiago Amaral (clarinet), Diego Santos (guitar) and Gabriel Ventura (percussion). "We will present all the songs that we composed in the street markets of Belém, in addition to presenting other compositions from our meetings, many of them in several other spaces of the city, such as Bar do Parque. The essence is to show a sound design that we end up doing for loving their spaces and wanting to see art for them. It ends up that the show is in homage to Belém ", says Carla Cabral, responsible for the project, which won the Research and Experimentation Prize of the Cultural Foundation of Pará and won the recording of an album available on digital platforms such as Spotify and Deezer. The proposal is also to put the scores of the songs in the social networks and still to launch a videoclip recorded during the meetings.

O Mercado do Choro é um projeto que reúne composições autorais oriundas de encontros em rodas de choro no espaço urbano de Belém do Pará, Amazônia, Brasil. O resultado é um espetáculo de alta temperatura que une os sotaques do choro amazônico a outros diversos compositores brasileiros que valorizam rítmos e improvisações.
O Mercado do Choro tem Carla Cabral (cavaco), Tiago Amaral (clarinete), Diego Santos (violão) e Bruno Miranda (percussão). “Vamos apresentar todas as músicas que compusemos nos Mercados, além de apresentar outras composições nossas oriundas de encontros, muitos deles em diversos outros espaços da cidade, como o Bar do Parque. A essência é mostrar um desenho sonoro que a gente acaba fazendo por amar seus espaços e desejar ver arte por eles. Acaba que o show é em homenagem a Belém”, diz Carla Cabral, responsável pelo projeto, que ganhou Prêmio de Pesquisa e Experimentação da Fundação Cultural do Pará e rendeu a gravação de um álbum disponível em plataformas digitais, como Spotify e Deezer. A proposta é também colocar as partituras das músicas nas redes sociais e ainda lançar um videoclipe gravado durante os encontros.
