Come enjoy with us this morning dancing and listening to the sounds of Brazilian Samba.

Children and parents will come into contact with this musical style through the voice of singer Breno Alves, percussionist Sandro Alves and guitarist Nelson Latif. The trio will be accompanied by actress Lis Nunes.

Breno Alves is a self-taught musician who started playing without pretensions at the age of eleven. Together with childhood friends, they decided to play drumming on buckets. Breno is today considered one of the samba exponents of his generation.

Coming from a family of musicians, Sandro Alves, from Rio de Janeiro, began his musical career at the age of 10, playing in rodas de samba, and at 14 he was already part of the drums at the Samba School G.R.E.S. Tradition in Rio de Janeiro. Still in Rio, he accompanied singers and bands from different musical backgrounds, accompanying nationally renowned artists, such as Geraldo Azevedo and Shanghai, among others.

Guitarist and cavaquinist, Nelson Latif is the result of the good crop of São Paulo musicians from the 1980s. With a musical background in jazz and choro, he performs on Brazilian and European stages. Nelson Latif combines the fundamentals of classical music with the various musical trends assimilated throughout his career.

Lis Nunes was born in Brazil and lives in Lyon where she studies Archeology and Art History.

Daughter of artists, she grew up immersed in the world of arts, developing skills in visual arts, theater and music.
