The story of the bayan
"After Silence" is the title of Oleg Fateev's latest CD. "After Silence" also refers to the silence that came with the corona time. The silence that Oleg found deepened his understanding. This solo programme arose from this deepening and the great lack of contact with the audience.
In this new programme, Oleg tells his history with the music where his heart lies, larded with stories from his life. It is about music from his home in Moldavia, via jazz in the Netherlands to the music on his own CDs "Dreams" and "After Silence".
His passion for singing will also be heard in special renditions of songs by his musical heroes such as Pyotr Leschenko and Vladimir Vysotsky.
Together with his inseparable bayan (Russian button accordion), Oleg will take the audience on a journey through his poetic musical world.

Het verhaal van de Bayan
"After Silence" is de titel van de laatste cd van Oleg Fateev. Tevens heeft "After Silence" betrekking op de stilte die de coronatijd met zich meebracht. De rust die bij Oleg zorgde voor verdieping. Vanuit deze verdieping en het grote gemis van het contact met het publiek is dit soloprogramma ontstaan.
In dit nieuwe programma vertelt Oleg zijn geschiedenis met de muziek waarbij zijn hart ligt, gelardeerd met verhalen uit zijn leven. Het gaat over muziek van thuis in Moldavië, via de jazz in Nederland tot de muziek op zijn eigen Cd's "Dreams" en "After Silence".
Ook zijn passie voor zang zal te horen zijn in bijzondere vertolkingen van liederen van zijn muzikale helden zoals Pjotr Leschenko en Vladimir Vysotsky.
Oleg neemt het publiek samen met zijn onafscheidelijke bayan (Russische knoppen accordeon) mee op reis door zijn poëtische muzikale wereld.
