Bio's
María Cristina González (flute), was born in Jaén (Andalucía, Spain), where she started her musical education when she was 10 years old. She studied in the Conservatorium van Amsterdam, where she obtained her Bachelor diploma with Vincent Cortvrint (KCO) and her Master diploma in both classical music and early music with Kersten Mccall (KCO) and Marten Root. Over the past few years, Maria Cristina has been collaborating with important orquestras and ensembles in The Netherlands and abroad, like the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra, Philharmonie Zuidnederland, Orkest van het Oosten, Het Niew
Ensemble, Nederland Bachverening, Metropole Orkest and Ensemble Resonanz, among others.

Born in Spain, María Josefa Contreras Gámez (oboe), started at the age of 5 with music. She got a higher degree in oboe performance at Conservatorio Superior de Música de Málaga (Spain), with René Martín Rodríguez in 2011.
She has performed as a soloist with Orquesta de Cámara Promúsica de Málaga and Orquesta de Cámara “Ensemble Elegance” de Málaga. As a member has performed with orchestras such as Orquesta Joven de Andalucía, Het Promenade Orkest, Koninklijke Militaire Kapel ‘Johan Willem Friso’, Nationaal Symfonisch Kamerorkest, Jong Metropole, Ricciotti Ensemble, Orquesta de Córdoba, Orquesta Sinfónica Provincial de Málaga, academy of Orquesta Ciudad de Granada, etc. She was principal oboe in Banda Municipal de Música de Motril and at the moment she is teaching oboe jazz at Conservatorium van Amsterdam.

Michele Mazzini (clarinet), born in Milan in 1995, graduated in classical clarinet in Milan, with maximum evaluation. He studied piano since a child and studied composition until 2015. After an Erasmus at the Royal Conservatory of Copenaghen and a placement at the conservatory of Stuttgart, he studied free improvising for a year at Siena Jazz and he is
currently a bass clarinet master student in new music at the conservatory of Amsterdam. Since in Holland he performed at: Eye museum, Zaal 100, De Ruimte, Vondelpark Openlucht Teather Festival and Oosterkerk.
María Yáñez Ocaña (bassoon), was born in a keen on music family from Granada (Spain), where she began her musical studies. She did her bachelor between Granada's and Sevilla's conservatory, playing at the same time with some youth and professional orchestras like Orquesta de Radio Televisión Española (ORTVE), Orquesta Ciudad de
Granada (OCG) or Orquesta Joven de Andalucía (OJA) among others. After that, she did her master studies with Simon van Holen at Conservatorium van Amsterdam following with her musical experience playing in Dutch orchestras such as Nederlands Philarmonisch Orkest (NedPho), Het Balletorkest, Philharmonie Zuidnederlands, Noord Nederlands
Orkest (NNO).

Born in Ibiza (Spain), Federico Cuevas Ruiz (french horn), started at the age of 6 with music. He studied the bachelor in the Real Conservatorio de Madrid and the master in the Conservatorium van Amsterdam. As a member has performed with orchestras such as Joven Orquesta de Madrid, Eighteenth Century Orchestra, Jonge Blazers Nederland,
Orquesta Sinfónica de Ibiza, Bach Orchestra of the Netherlands. Currently he is playing with Het Nationale Theater.
