The Fado Nights in AMSTERDAM are a joint venture of Teatro Munganga and Portuguese singer and guitarist Rafael Fraga, taking place in the heart of Amsterdam since 2016.
This special event, inspired by the informal and cosy ambience of the traditional Fado houses of Lisbon, will bring together some of the best Portuguese music and poetry, along with storytelling and other innovations. The (usually) sold-out audience is invited to participate, share, sing and dance.
The upcoming edition of the FADO NIGHTS in AMSTERDAM will take place on Saturday, February 8, 2020, at Munganga Theatre. Hosted and curated by Rafael, the evening promises touching moments, great guests and many surprises: a real flavour of Portugal, to warm-up a cold Dutch winter night.
