We are happy to announce another "roda de choro" at Teatro Munganga. Once a month we organise this Brazilian roda (roundtable), where musicians familiar with choro can participate. So if you play guitar, flute, percussion and would like to play with us, get in touch info@munganga.nl

This roda is led by Elizabeth Fadel on piano and Daniel Montes on 7-string guitar.

Choro is a Brazilian music style from Rio de Janeiro, from the 19th century. it mixes classical music like polca and march, with African rhythms like lundu and maxixe.

The combination makes people smile and even dance.

We zijn blij om nog een "roda de choro" aan te kondigen in Teatro Munganga.

Eén keer per maand organiseren wij deze Braziliaanse roda (roundtable), waar muzikanten die bekend zijn met choro aan kunnen deelnemen. Dus als je gitaar, dwarsfluit, percussie speelt en bij ons wilt spelen, neem dan contact op info@munganga.nl
