I Francisco Mário International Prize for Popular Guitar – Europe

One of the biggest Popular Acoustic Guitar Awards today, it aims to value the work of musicians and instrumentalists who dedicate themselves to one of the most played musical instrument in the world, the acoustic guitar.

At the same time, this award aims also to celebrate the work of composer Francisco Mário, an exponent of Brazilian instrumental music and a pioneer in the production of independent records in Brazil.

The best interpretations of Chico’s songs will be awarded more than 8000 Euros!!

The final stage of the Award, at the Official Ceremony, which will be held on August 22, 2023 (birthday of Francisco Mário, who would have turned 75), at Teatro Munganga.
