Met in 1998, NITA & ALEXANDER have been together for 26 years and persued their music career, performing music through all over Europe, USA & Asia in major International Jazz Festivals.

Nita Aartsen has been The State Piano Player for Indonesia for a period of 15 years. A virtuoso pianist, specializing in the connection between classical, Latin Jazz and contemporary music, she has played all over the world with some of the best Latin and Jazz musicians. A regular performer at many Jazz Festivals all over the world, Nita has released 3 international solo albums to date, and is well known for her own unique brand of high energy, contemporary Latin Jazz.

Eduard Alexander Aartsen started his solo carrier over 25 years ago, with a special Impersonation Act paying Tribute to the career of  Crooners & Elvis Presley, playing on stages in Holland, Germany, Spain, USA Las Vegas, Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand etc.

Nita & Eduard. Their individual difference in musical background is melted together in their Duet Performances which they start doing in 1999 where they showcase duets as sang by Ella Fitzgerald and Louis Armstrong as well as their own interpretation of Jazz Songs into duets. And ofcourse besides their Duets they perform their individual preferred songs.

For the show at Theatro Munganga on November 9th this year, they will play together as kwartet with fellow musicians from Amsterdam, Olaf Keus on drums & Dave Sahanaja on bass, creating magical jazz evening
