Matu Miranda is a Brazilian singer, songwriter, and violonist.
In 2023, Matu participated in the latest edition of the program The Voice Brasil, where he gained great visibility and was a semifinalist.
Seen by many as the new voice of Brazilian Popular Music, Matu lands for the first time in Europe to tour with the show for his first album called “Matutando".
In an intimate format, voice and guitar, Matu presents his universe and the compositions of his new album, as well as reinterpretations of works that are part of his musical journey. The Dutch flautist Floor Polder will have a special participation in this concert.

MATU MIRANDA - singer, songwriter, and guitarist. Born in Campo Grande-MS, he currently lives in Rio de Janeiro-RJ. His artistic work incorporates influences from Brazilian instrumental music, northeastern music, jazz, soul, and MPB, resulting in a unique sound. Matu has been acknowledged and welcomed by great artists such as Roberto de Carvalho, Gilberto Gil, and Margareth Menezes.
In 2023, he was a semifinalist in the latest edition of The Voice Brasil, on Carlinhos Brown's team.
In 2024, he represented Brazilian Popular Music at the BRICS Young Winds Music Show at the World Festival of Youth in Sochi, Russia.
With his musical and poetic creativity, powerful, sensitive, jazz-infused, and precisely tuned singing, he has been winning over an increasingly larger audience.
With a strong media presence, Matu has over 135,000 followers on social media, garnering fans of his music throughout Brazil. With an EP and an album set to be released in September 2024, Matu has thousands of monthly listeners on audio platforms and has collaborated on albums with artists like Michael Pipoquinha, Arismar do Espírito Santo, Josiel Konrad, among others.
The artist has been living a nomadic experience, performing shows in various formats. In his performances, Matu Miranda presents his original compositions, as well as reinterpretations of works that are part of his musical journey.
Floor Polder
After finishing her bachelor at Codarts Conservatory in 2013, Floor is working as a flutist and singer in different projects. In 2018 she moved to Brazil for her master studies where she now lives and works in Rio de Janeiro. She has recorded two albums with the band Savoy Room and Banda Fulô. This year is she back to year Netherlands.
