Mike Del Ferro en Femke Smit kennen elkaar al een tijdje, maar toen ze afgelopen April in Rio de Janeiro een paar dagen samen optrokken ontstond er een bijzondere muzikale connectie. Hun liefde voor Braziliaanse muziek delen ze, net als een klassieke achtergrond met beiden een operazanger als vader en natuurlijk de jazz en improvisatie als basis.
Kortom, een vruchtbare bodem voor een prachtige muzikale samenwerking.

Mike en Femke spelen onbekende stukken van bekende Braziliaanse componisten (Jobim, Chico Buarque, Milton Nascimento), de lado B (B kant) van hun oeuvre, waar de meest prachtige stukken te vinden zijn.
Mike staat bekend om zijn lyrische spel en Femke voert u mee met haar meeslepende vertolkingen waardoor je bijna zou vergeten dat je geen Portugees verstaat.

Een reis langs de vele muzikale rijkdommen die Brazilie te bieden heeft.

Mike Del Ferro and Femke Smit have known each other for a while, but when they spent a few days together in Rio de Janeiro last April 2023, a special musical connection emerged. They share their love of Brazilian music, as well as a classical background with both having an opera singer as a father and, of course, jazz and improvisation as their basis.
In short, fertile ground for a wonderful musical collaboration.

Mike and Femke play unknown pieces by well-known Brazilian composers (Jobim, Chico Buarque, Milton Nascimento), the lado B (B side) of their oeuvre, where the most beautiful pieces can be found.
Mike is known for his lyrical playing and Femke carries you away with her compelling interpretations that would almost make you forget you don't understand Portuguese.
