“FORBIDDEN TO FORBID”
The story of three friends in Rio de Janeiro: Leon, a sociology student; his girlfiend Leticia, an architecture student; and Paulo, a medical student and Leon’s best friend and
roommate. Although Paulo finds himself attracted to Leticia, his friendship with Leon prevents him from acting on his feelings.
When Rosalina, a leukemia patient at the hospital where Paulo interns, asks him to get in touch with her sons, the three friends are pulled out of their relatively tranquil lives and
drawn into the violence of Rio.

“Proibido Proibir” conta a história de Paulo (Caio Blat), estudante de medicina, Leon (Alexandre Rodrigues), estudante de sociologia e melhor amigo de Paulo, com quem dividem uma quitinete perto da universidade e Letícia (Maria Flor) estudante de arquitetura. Paulo e Letícia se apaixonam, mas a jovem namora Leon, por esta razão o triângulo não se realiza, provocando tensão no grupo. Através de Paulo, Leon e Leticia conhecem Rosalina (Edyr Duqui), paciente terminal no Hospital Universitário. Ao tentar aproximá-la de seus filhos, que não a visitam faz tempo, os jovens acabam confrontando-se com a violência da cidade. Leon é ferido num tiroteio ao tentar salvar Cacauzinho, um dos filhos de Rosalina. Ele está sendo perseguido por matadores profissionais e por policiais, por ter testemunhado o assassinato do seu irmão. Letícia resgata Leon num subúrbio da cidade. Para salvá-lo, Paulo tem que operá-lo em casa com a ajuda dela. A trágica experiência fortalece o amor de Paulo e Letícia e a amizade fraterna que une o trio.
