The Nita Aartsen Jazz Quartet consist of Nita Aartsen from Indonesia on keys & vocal, featuring Dutch drummer & percussionist, Olaf Keus. These two musicians have been touring together performing on international music events for years, in many countries and continents showing high energy and a unique music approach.  Completing the quartet this time with Javier Delgado on bass from Spain & Michael Ananda on guitar from Indonesia. Over the last couple of years  this group performed on several international music festivals in both Europe and Asia.

Nita Aartsen is undoubtedly one of Indonesia's most accomplished and entertaining Jazz Piano players. Voted AMI's best Female Jazz Artist, Nita is a stand out regular performer at many European Festivals and has played with many of the archipelago's best musicians, as well as performing around the world with many other acclaimed Jazz musicians.

Olaf Keus is a Dutch drummer and percussionist with an international reputation and has over 40 years of experience in the music scene. Collaborating for last 5 years with Nita Aartsen they have established a  unique music combination in a high energy and entertaining way. Body percussion is one of his unique skills that is rare to find.

Michael Aartsen is the new music prodigies from Indonesia on Guitar. he has have won several international music competitions and performed in several prestigious festivals.

Our special guest for this tour is: Javier Delgado (Seville, Spain) studied at the Academy of Orchestral Studies of the Baremboim-Said Foundation, with Manfred Pernutz, soloist of the Staatskapelle Orquestra of Berlin.
In jazz he’s studied with Ray Drummond, Jerry Bergonzi, Barry Harris, Dave Santoro, Dave Phillips, Ben Street and Perico Sambeat. Javier Delgado has performed with Abdu Salim, Jimmy Weinstein, Pedro Cortejosa, Arturo Serra, Norman Hogues, Perico Sambeat or Sheila Jordan, performing in jazz festivals throughout Spain, Uk, Germany, France, Denmark, Indonesia, Morroco or Norway.

He’s taught at the Escuela de Música Moderna y Jazz of the University of Cadiz (Spain) and at the Kathmandu Jazz Conservatory (Nepal). He is the bassist for the Andalucía.
