The award-winning Brazilian guitarist Vitor Garbelotto returns to the Munganga Theater, this time to honour one of the greatest Brazilian composers Radamés Gnattali (1906-1988).
The music of Gnattali stands between classical and popular music, his works range from popular songs to symphonies. He has inspired such people as Tom Jobim, Pixinguinha, Gismonti, and several generations of musicians since the 1930s.
In this concert, Garbelotto will perform some of his original solo guitar pieces, blending the repertoire with some arrangements of the music of Jobim, Pixinguinha, Villa-Lobos, Nazareth, among others.
The music of the concert is followed by some stories and sights on the life and work of this Brazilian genius Radamés Gnattali.

Vitor Garbelotto is a guitarist, composer, arranger, and poet. An emerging figure in contemporary Brazilian guitar, he has a dual formation in classical and popular music, which allows him to move fluidly from one universe to the other with great intimacy with his instrument.
Garbelotto surprised and pleased both critics and the public when he recorded for the first time the complete works for solo guitar by Radamés Gnattali. With several recorded albums, Garbelotto has built a solid international career, sharing his passion for music on different stages in countries such as Brazil, France, Belgium, the Netherlands, Italy, and Denmark.
