4sure is een latin jazz formatie die Surinaamse Paramaribop mixed met Jazz Brazilaanse en Cubaanse smaken. Zij worden beschouwd als de belangrijk grondleggers in deze stijl. 4Sure heeft 2 CD’s uitgebracht, "Brujeria “ en de in Italië opgenomen "Freedom of speech”.

Mark Milan is a composer and pianist. Mark began his professional career at the age of 18, when he became a regular member of Chicago-born blues guitarist Ronald Abrams' band. He soon became known in the musical community for his diversity and musicality. He has performed with many artists, including Rumbata, Gerardo Rosales, Unisono, Denise Jannah, Saskia Laroo, Izaline Calister. With Fra-Fra Sound/Big Band he has toured in Europe, Africa, Jamaica, Cuba, and Surinam. Mark appeared at the North Sea Jazz Festival with Fra-Fra Sound, and with Eddy Veldman's Opoyeye. His recordings include the CD's of Fra-Fra Sound, Rumbata and 4Sure
Franklin Caesar Breeveld on Sax. From the 70th on he is active in the Dutch jazz en world music Scene. Franklin Caesar is a seasoned musician who earned his stripes in the lineup of heavyweights in the Dutch and international jazz scene such as Franky Douglas, Reginald Workman, Ronald Snijders, The award winning bassist, composer and arranger Badou Jobe and Ifan Bondi, Surinam Music Ensemble, Fra Fra sound and Fra Fra bigband. In all these groups he was given every opportunity to develop his own particular style and sound. All these experiences and different styles culminated in his 2004 solo debuut cd " A DRIVEN SPIRIT”
Olaf Keus on drums from Amsterdam, Plays with 4Sure since the beginning. Olaf is always involved in many projects and plays with his own Olaf Keus Quintet, the Guitar syndicate, the Bijlmer steelband and Brazilian music with Brancka and Ceumar. He also played together with internationally renowned artist like Ramon Valle, Nippy Noya, Deborah J. Carter and Michelle David He’s played with the band of the legendary saxophonist and singer Rosa King; they recorded 3 albums and toured the world several times. He has been touring with the Mike del Ferro Trio, in Brazil, Chile, Bolivia, Costa Rica and Panama. Did several theater tours a.o. with Samba Salad, and has a (body) percussion duo with Simone Sou.
Pierre Dunker is a composer and bass player from the island of Curaçao in the Caribbean. His interest in jazz music afforded him the opportunity to play with many local jazz artists For 10 years he played among others with Gary Levy, a saxophonist from Brooklyn, New York at Hooks Hut in Curaçao, During this time Pierre began to draw the attention of numerous artists abroad. Among others, he has worked with Dave Valentin (USA), Avishai Cohen (Israël/USA), Timucin Sahin (USA/Turkey), Izaline Calister (NL/Curacao), Denise Jannah (Netherlands), Amina Figarova (USA), Israel Gonzalez (Cuba), Pernell Saturnino (Curaçao and USA), Miles Peña (USA), Michiel Borstlap (Netherlands) and Gary Weill (Venezuela).He now resides in the Netherlands working locally as well in the rest of Europe on different musical projects, and his own quartet. He has been joining 4Sure lately, and replaces Pablo Nahar when he is in Suriname.
