On May 22, Viviani Godoy premieres a powerful new multimedia tribute she wrote in honor of Angela Ro Ro, featuring special guest Mariana Elsas.

Titled “Angela Ro Ro, The Guardian of the Broken hearts”, the production is a moving theatrical and musical journey celebrating the life and legacy of the iconic Brazilian singer/songwriter, who passed away in 2025. Through narration, live music, and dramatization, Viviani and Mariana bring to life the emotional depth, artistic courage, and personal struggles that marked Angela Ro Ro’s trajectory.

Accompanied by pianist and accordionist Jina Sumedi and bassist/guitarist Oliver de Jong and directed by Claudia Maoli, the performance guides the audience by the hands and through the heart, tracing the artist’s path from childhood to her final days.

The entire show — including all songs — is fully subtitled in English, making the experience accessible to international audiences and non-Portuguese speakers.

Blending storytelling, music, and multimedia elements, the tribute offers an intimate and immersive experience, honoring one of Brazil’s most expressive and emotionally resonant voices.
