Bemquerê begins the year with a series of concerts dedicated to its original repertoire. Singer Lelê Martino, with her captivating presence, and guitarist Diogo Fráguas, with his remarkable sensitivity, present an intimate show where everyday poetry takes shape in songs that speak of affection, encounters and journeys.
In this new phase, the duo moves even closer to the acoustic essence of contemporary MPB, valuing interpretation, melodies and a direct relationship with the audience. The concerts take place in theatres and cultural spaces, as well as independent initiatives that bring music and community together.
The season includes well-known songs and new material that points to the next steps of the project — always with Bemquerê's sensitive and sincere signature.
BIO
Bemquerê is formed by Lele Martino, a sweet and powerful voice with an inspiring magnetism, and Diogo Fráguas, who brings his melodic, harmonic and rhythmic creativity to enrich the compositions and arrangements. The project was born in 2018, when the duo moved to Portugal with the aim of developing an international artistic career.
In 2020, they released their first single, “Se Afasta”, which quickly gained airplay on Portuguese radio stations and continues to be played daily. Later that year, they released three more singles, notably “Saudade”, which also gained airplay on Lisbon radio stations. In 2022, they released the EP “Heavy Leve”, produced by Tó Brandileone and Alê Siqueira, consisting of six tracks that mix Brazilian rhythms with electronic beats, including the track “Adoro te ver Dançar”, which is currently being played on Portuguese radio stations.
Bemquerê is part of the Brazilian Popular Music renewal movement, seeking inspiration in the poetics of everyday life, life and love, with original and sincere songs. In 2024, they reached the semi-finals of Got Talent Portugal.
In addition, they are the creators of the ‘Rebento’ project, a series of intimate concerts held monthly in their own home, where two local artists are invited to each edition to share the stage. In December 2024, they celebrated the twelfth edition of this unique event.
They are currently in the studio producing their first full album, in collaboration with renowned producer Raul Misturada, promising to bring new sounds that reaffirm their unique musical identity.
