Singer, puppeteer and actor André Melo and pianist/accordionist Jina Sumedi will perform a very special repertoire of popular Dutch songs.

Very known songs such as “Aan de Amsterdanse Grachten”, “Dans je de hele nacht met mij”, songs by Willeke Alberti, Wim Sonneveld, Rob de Nijs, Boudewijn de Groot, and of course, Dutch and some Brazilian children's songs.

This musical mix will not only entertain the children but also those who accompany them.

We will sing and have fun together!

BIO
Jina Sumedi studied piano at the Rotterdam Conservatory and composition at the CvA. She was then mainly active as a performing musician in which she travelled extensively. For instance, she has performed outside Europe in Africa, Asia and the ‘Americas’. She started sharing her knowledge of music and piano/accordion 7 years ago, first in Curaçao and now in the Netherlands and enjoys teaching. In her lessons, the love of music, and the joy it brings, is paramount. Besides teaching, Jina can be seen on various stages in our country, including in the circus.

André Melo is a versatile artist working as a performer, puppeteer, singer and puppet maker. Born in Brazil, he has developed a deep love for Dutch culture. By singing old Dutch songs alongside his studies, he learned Dutch. With passion and accompanied by the pianist Jina, he sings these songs together with his puppets, bringing stories to life in a unique way.’
